CBP Seizes Counterfeit Goods in Los Angeles and Miami this week

There were two high profile seizures of counterfeit goods this week. In Los Angeles, CBP Officers seized 3,960 high end belts with an estimated suggested retail price of $3,227,400. CBP noted that the counterfeit fashion products are becoming more realistic and sophisticated recently.

Meanwhile in Miami, Officers at the Miami seaport seized 2,167 counterfeit flat screen televisions with an estimated retail price of $610,400. CBP Officers became suspicious after noticing questionable HDMI trademarks on the packaging.
