US Customs will be acting upon the Executive Order entitled “Establishing Enhanced Collection and Enforcement of Anti-dumping and Countervailing Duties and Violations of Trade and Customs Laws.† This executive order was signed on March 31st, 2017 and establishes ‘enhanced measures’ to collect duties.  This order specifically addresses anti-dumping, intellectual property rights, and seizure methods.  Please be prepared for increased scrutiny as US Customs continues their new agenda of enforcement.
