International Freight Operations Coordinator - Mississauga, ON

We are looking for an energetic, motivated and customer-focused savvy individual, who is looking for a career.

The International Freight Operations Coordinator will be responsible for arranging and following up on International freight. Dispatch operations for all assigned clients, spot quoting, tracking, and invoicing.

Here are some of the activities you will be expected to perform:

  • Take orders from customers and outsource to the proper carriers for pickups of international freight. Arrange for basic deliveries and investigate which type of move.
  • Rate negotiations with carriers.
  • Ensure customers freight is picked up / delivered to the customer on time (track and trace)
  • Match vendor invoices to payables, and preparing customers invoices once freight files are closed.
  • Provide customers / prospects with on spot quotes for freight moving at that moment or projects for the future.
  • Billing and filing, Miscellaneous administration
  • All other duties as assigned

These are the standards we look for:

  • High School Diploma is required
  • Minimum three (3) years direct experience in truck, air, and ocean shipments
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products.
  • Working knowledge of transport law
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written is required
  • Problem solving, accuracy, attention to detail and analytical ability is required

Account Executive - Calgary, AB

We are looking for an energetic, motivated and customer-focused savvy individual, who is looking for a career.

Customs Brokerage Account Executive – Calgary, AB (and surrounding area)

This position is responsible for obtaining new Customs Brokerage business, and ensuring timely on-boarding of new clients.


Here are some of the activities you will be expected to perform:

  • Independently prospect and search out new sales opportunities.
  • Meet with prospects to determine requirements and whether or not the prospective client is a fit for the Company.
  • Negotiate outcomes which are mutually beneficial.
  • Develop solutions for strategic service issues to gain new business
  • Prepare and present proposals to potential clients
  • Review and negotiate pricing
  • Maintenance of new account set-ups
  • Service customers and ensure that expectations are delivered and met during initial on-boarding phase
  • Travel is a regular requirement of the position. Western Canada and USA.
  • All other duties as assigned.

These are the standards we look for:

  • College and or University Degree in Business Administration and or equivalent is required.
  • Minimum five (5) years executive level selling experience. Customs Brokerage experience is an asset but not essential
  • Must be able to travel into and out of the USA
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products
  • Self-disciplined with excellent organizational and time management skills. Able to work independently and or part of a team.
  • Strong prospecting skills and negotiating/closing skills is a must
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written is required
