  • All other duties assigned.

These are the standards we look for:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customs brokerage environment
  • Exposure to the Transportation industry an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office and database skills

We are currently looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our exceptional inside sales team. This position is responsible for initiating B2B relationships with prospective clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage strong prospecting and closing skills to achieve monthly and annual goals.
  • Initiate and build relationships in an effort to create sales leads.
  • Qualify prospects to ensure they are a target account for Willson International.
  • Work within a one to one partnership with an Account Executive.
  • Research and develop leads from various sources.

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE – Calgary, AB and Edmonton, AB 

We are currently looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our exceptional sales team.  As an Account Executive you play a key and valued role in building our sales and market share.  When you are successful we are successful.

Here is what it takes to be successful in this role:

Position is responsible to obtain new Customs Brokerage business and to provide unmatched service to existing accounts:

  • Prospect to find new sales opportunities. Work with your own Inside Sales Rep to build strong relationships that lead to new sales opportunities.
  • Meet with prospects to determine requirements and whether or not the prospective client is a fit for Willson.
  • Target potential business customers within the assigned territory.
  • Negotiate outcomes which are mutually beneficial to Willson and the customer
  • Develop solutions for strategic service issues to gain new business
  • Prepare and present proposals to potential clients
  • Review and negotiate pricing
  • Deliver on service plan of existing customers
  • Regular Travel (car) is a requirement of the job to get to client sites.

These are the standards we look for:

  • College and or University Degree in Business Administration and or equivalent are required.
  • Customs certificate is a definite asset
  • Minimum two years in a business to business customs brokerage sales environment.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products
  • Self-disciplined with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently (on the road or at home office) and or part of a team.
  • Strong prospecting skills and negotiating/closing skills is a must
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written is required
  • Satisfactory employment references and criminal background check is required.
