While consulting with a prospective client, Willson International learned members of the
business were spending 25% of their time reviewing customs entries before final customs
acquittal to ensure entries were correct. The business believed its suppliers couldn’t be
trusted to provide accurate information since product descriptions were often vague or
incomplete. Also, its suppliers were not managing international shipments by using the
business’ part numbers, which made compliance difficult.

After reviewing the company’s information, Willson International implemented its
proprietary ShipCheck Solution to create shipping documentation. The software was
deployed at the locations of each international supplier, with only those products being
shipped forming a part of the database.
