This week, US Customs issued the news release that two shipments were seized at the Pacific Highway Port of Entry in Blaine, Washington.  Two separate shipments of DVDs were found to bear a counterfeit DVD logo.  One shipment contained ten (10) boxes of “Little House on the Prairie†discs, while the other contained twenty (20) boxes of the popular show “Republic of Doyle.† Other products on the same shipment were released, but this seizure is an illustration of the mandate to enforce Intellectual Property Rights at the ports of entry.
