Anti-dumping Order Issued on Stainless Steel Sheet and Strip from China

On April 3rd the Federal Register published the official notice that antidumping and countervailing duties became effective on stainless steel sheet and strip from The People’s Republic of China.

These cases have been numbered A-570-042 (ADD) and C-570-043 (CVD).  ADD is an additional duty added to specific commodities that have been determined to have been ‘dumped’ at less than fair market value into the commerce of the United States and have caused harm to domestic industry.  Countervailing duty is a similar duty that is levied when it has been determined that foreign manufacturers received subsidies for their export productions.  If you plan to, or already, export stainless steel sheet and strip into the United States, please feel free to contact transitionus@willsonintl.044d949.netsolhost.com if you have any questions.
