U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) will begin participating in U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) ACE messaging. For products regulated by the CPSC, the agency will initially notify trade using an “UNDER REVIEW†message signifying that CPSC has been notified of incoming products of interest. Depending on the SCPSC determination, shipments may receive ‘Hold Intact’ or “Intensive Exam’ notifications.
Children’s products, power cords, bicycles and other electric powered cycles and mattresses top the list of items subject to CPSC review. If your products are regulated by the CPSC, please review the CPSC notification document.
