As a reminder, shippers of human and animal feed will be required to report the DUNS number and the contact information (name, email, and phone) of the US buyer of the goods.  The FDA will TEMPORARILY allow “UNK†in place of DUNS numbers for the initial transition, but the data will be mandatory shortly.  The contact information will be mandatory effective May 30th.
If your US buyers have not yet obtained a DUNS number, they can visit www.fdadunslookup.com or call 866.705.5711.  DUNS numbers should be unique for each firm (a corporate headquarters with multiple company locations should not have the same DUNS number for each site).  Each unique site (address) should have a unique DUNS number.
