The office of the U.S. Trade Representative will open the exclusion process for Tranche 3 of the Section 301 duties on China. These exclusion requests will be handled through a portal. Responses to the requests are due 14 days after the request is posted. These exclusions will be retroactive to September 24th, 2018. These requests must include the products function, application, principal use, and any unique physical features that distinguish it from other products within the covered 8-digit HTSUS subheading. Please take time to review the exclusion process link above to determine if your product could qualify.
