Certain Corrosion-Resistant Steel Sheet – Schedule revision in relation to investigations

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has revised the schedule in relation to the investigations into the dumping and subsidizing of certain corrosion‑resistant steel sheet originating in or exported from Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.  Revisions to the schedule were made by the CBSA in order to alleviate pressures brought on by the COVID‑19 pandemic to interested parties.  Additional information is available on the CBSA website.

Certain Hot‑Rolled Steel Plate – Statement of Reasons – Expiry review determination

On June 4, 2020 the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) determined that the expiry of the order made by the Canadian International Trade Tribunal is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping of certain hot‑rolled carbon steel plate and high‑strength low‑alloy steel plate originating in or exported from Ukraine.  Additional information is available on the CBSA website.

Certain Oil Country tubular goods and certain hot‑rolled steel plate – Schedule revision in relation to the review of the final determinations of dumping

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) initiated a review of the final determinations of dumping with respect to certain oil country tubular goods from South Korea and Turkey and with respect to certain hot‑rolled steel plate from South Korea.

Given the difficulties in distributing the archived administrative records for the aforementioned cases to interested parties and delays that ensued, the CBSA has revised the schedule in relation to the review.  Accordingly, the review of the final determinations of dumping will conclude by August 7, 2020.  Additional information is available on the CBSA website.
