APHIS Bans Poultry, Egg and Live Bird Imports from Ontario, Canada

The Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has temporarily prohibited poultry, commercial birds, birds for research and performance, ratites, avian hatching eggs, unprocessed avian products and byproducts including fresh poultry, effective immediately. Additionally, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) will not certify any of the aforementioned products for export if they have originated in Ontario.
