Beginning on August 6th, 2015, the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) will begin the enforcement of phase V which includes 20 more tariff lines in chapters 44, 82, 94 and 96. Importers will have approximately 6 months before the declarations are required on the new products. The agency is also accepting comments until April 7th on products covered in the new phase and any other tariffs that should be included.
