US Aluminum Association files ADD/CVD Petitions Alleging Subsidized Imports

This week, the Aluminum Association’s Trade Enforcement Working Group filed anti-dumping and countervailing duty (AD/CVD) petitions alleging that their industry has been materially injured by subsidized imports of aluminum foil at less than fair market value.

The Association has requested the US government to investigate and impose additional duties to regulate the field of play for their industry.  In twelve years, China has increased exports to the US from 0 percent to 22 percent of the market.
