CBP released information on two seizures of counterfeit goods that occurred in July, both in Florida Seaports. In Miami, CBP Officers seized 10,788 counterfeit handbags with a MSRP of $4.9 million. In Tampa, CBP seized 860 pairs of counterfeit sunglasses. In both seizures, CBP noted that, again, the quality of the product did not appear to be consistent with the brand names.
