The US Department of commerce has suspended liquidation and set countervailing duty rates for uncoated groundwood paper from Canada with CVD case C-122-862. The DOC has found subsidization in the preliminary investigation. These duty rates range from zero to 9.93% based on the manufacturer. If the manufacturer does not have an individual case, the ‘all others’ rate is 6.53%. There is also an antidumping investigation with a preliminary determination date due on March 7th, 2018. If your company ships this product into the United States, please contact the US Transition Team via email: transitionus@willsonintl.044d949.netsolhost.com or call 716-260-1580 option 4.
