U.S. Duties Modified in Response to China’s Opioid Supply Chain Actions

The U.S. issued an executive order modifying duties to address the synthetic opioid supply chain in China.

Following China’s commitment to curb exports of precursor chemicals used in fentanyl production, the additional duty on certain Chinese-origin goods went into effect November 10, 2025.

This update adjusts certain tariffs and may impact import planning and compliance.

Businesses should review the changes to ensure shipments remain compliant.
