Key Qualifications
  • 7+ years of product management and/or B2B marketing experience, with a strong background in ABM and strategic planning.
  • Proven success in developing and executing marketing strategies aligned with revenue targets.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in marketing analytics and performance reporting.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with executive stakeholders.
  • Experience in industrial, regulated, or logistics sectors is a strong plus.
Description of Role

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Marketing and Business Development Leadership
  • Lead a Business Development team of 9+ people with 1 direct report.
  • Set the strategic direction for business development initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational growth goals and seamless integration across sales and marketing.
  • Coach and support business development leadership, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, performance accountability, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and lead the annual marketing strategy aligned with company revenue objectives.
  • Conduct quarterly strategic reviews to assess performance, refine tactics, and maintain alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business priorities and translate them into actionable marketing plans.
  • Oversee and collaborate with external marketing agencies as needed to support strategic initiatives and campaign execution.
  1. Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
  • Identify and refine ideal customer profiles (ICPs) within key industry verticals: produce, steel, and other highly regulated industries.
  • Increase lead generation and deepen engagement with ideal prospects through targeted ABM campaigns aimed at key decision-makers.
  • Support ABM campaigns through multi-channel outreach, including personalized messaging, webinars, and targeted email campaigns.
  • Oversee creative development including design, copywriting, and campaign reporting.

 

 

  1. Sales Enablement
  • Develop custom sales decks and one-pagers aligned with vertical-specific campaigns.
  • Create email templates and sales enablement tools to support prospecting and client engagement.
  • Build and maintain a centralized resource hub for sales reps to access campaign collateral and insights.
  • Oversee the adoption and evolution of lead development frameworks and technologies, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and data integrity across systems and teams.
  1. Content Strategy and Creation
  • Lead Willson’s LinkedIn content strategy, balancing thought leadership and brand personality.
  • Publish weekly LinkedIn posts and monthly content themes based on market trends and insights.
  • Write and distribute e-newsletters that articulate product strengths and market positioning.
  • Develop compelling customer-facing website content that highlights Willson’s technological and service advantages.
  1. Market and Competitor Intelligence
  • Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
  • Compile and present monthly insight reports to inform marketing and sales strategies.
  • Ensure the organization stays ahead of market shifts and customer expectations.
  1. Reporting and Collaboration
  • Deliver monthly reports on campaign performance, engagement metrics, and sales alignment.
  • Maintain regular communication with leadership via weekly or biweekly syncs.
  • Build dashboards for real-time tracking of key performance indicators.
