President Trump signed a Proclamation delaying the Section 232 tariff increases on imports of upholstered furniture, kitchen cabinets, and vanities for another year.
The tariff increases had been scheduled to take effect on January 1, 2026, but their implementation has now been postponed.
Therefore, the existing 25% import tariff on certain upholstered furniture, kitchen cabinets, and vanities, established under the original September 25, 2025 proclamation, remains in effect.
We will continue to monitor developments and provide updates as additional information becomes available.
