The United States Department of Commerce (DOC) made an preliminary determination that imports of aluminum wire and cable from China are being sold in the U.S. at less than fair value. The collection of this antidumping duty began June 5th.  Aluminum cable and wire from China is already subject to countervailing duty as of April 8,2019. The details of this can be found in the Federal Register.
