Oil Country Tubular Goods 2, Notice of expiry review determination

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has completed its investigation,  concerning the dumping of certain oil country tubular goods originating or exported from the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu (Chinese Taipei), India, Indonesia, the Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine and Vietnam.

The CBSA has determined that the expiry of the finding:

– is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping of such goods originating in or exported from the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu (Chinese Taipei), India, Indonesia, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine and Vietnam; and

– is unlikely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping of such goods originating in or exported from the Philippines.

A Statement of Reason will be posted on the CBSA website within 15 days.

Carbon and alloy steel line pipe – Notice of normal value and export price review

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has today initiated a normal value and export price review to update all normal values and export prices of certain carbon and alloy steel line pipe (line pipe) exported from the Republic of Korea to Canada by Husteel Co., Ltd (Husteel).

Should the exporter decide to participate in this normal value and export price review, it is required to provide a complete and accurate response to the CBSA’s dumping Request for Information (RFI) by August 27, 2020.

If the exporter does not provide a complete response to the RFI by the deadline date, any previous normal values issued to the exporter will be immediately revoked and normal values for subject goods exported by Husteel will be determined by advancing the export price of the goods by 88.1%, pursuant to a Ministerial specification.

Carbon steel welded pipe 2 – Notice of normal value and export price review

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has today initiated a normal value review to update the normal values and export prices applicable to certain carbon steel welded pipe (CSWP) exported to Canada from Thailand by Saha Thai Steel Pipe (Saha).

Should the exporter decide to participate in this normal value review, it is required to provide a complete and accurate response to the CBSA’s Request for Information (RFI) by August 31, 2020. The exporter will be considered co‑operative if the requested information is complete, submitted on time and the exporter permits verification of the data.

If the exporter does not provide a complete response to the RFI by the deadline date, any previous normal values issued to the exporter will be immediately revoked and normal values applicable to subject goods exported by Saha will be determined by advancing the export price of the goods by 54.2%, pursuant to a ministerial specification.
