Polyethylene Terephthalate Resin – Notice of Preliminary Determinations

On November 16, 2017, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) made preliminary determinations of dumping and subsidizing with respect to certain polyethylene terephthalate resin (PET resin) originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of India, the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The subject goods are usually classified under the following Harmonized System (HS) classification numbers (codes):

Provisional dumping and countervailing duties will now be payable on the subject goods that are released from the CBSA on or after November 16, 2017.
