Buffalo FDA Issues Memorandum Regarding Border Crossing Procedures

Today, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the Port of Buffalo, NY issued a memorandum reminding exporters, carriers, brokers, and importers of the procedures for crossing the border with FDA regulated commodities.  This is in response to a recent increase of truck traffic failing to stop for FDA inspection upon entry.

Please take some time to read the letter and remind your carriers that they must stop for FDA inspection if your goods are regulated.
