CBP Announces USMCA Implementation Center

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has announced the creation of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) Center to aide in the implementation of the new agreement on July 1st, 2020.

According to the release, this center “will serve as a central communication hub for CBP and the private sector community, including traders, brokers, freight forwarders and producers, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition from the North American Free Trade Agreement to USMCA.”

CBP has also launched a USMCA webpage with additional information about the agreement and implementation.
