This memorandum explains the Canada Border Services Agency’s (CBSA) procedures regarding the disposition of excess alcoholic beverages.

D9-1-1, Canada Border Services Agency’s Policy on the Classification of Obscene Material

This memorandum outlines and explains the interpretation of tariff item 9899.00.00, paragraph (a), of the Schedule to the Customs Tariff.

D11-4-2, Proof of Origin of Imported Goods

This memorandum provides information regarding the proof of origin requirements for imported goods.  This memorandum has been revised to reflect the implementation of the Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement (CPAFTA).  Changes have been made to provide policy and procedural information related to the administration of this free trade agreement.

D11-4-13, Rules of Origin for Casual Goods Under Free Trade Agreements

Rules of origin for casual goods regulations are used to determine the entitlement of casual goods to preferential tariff treatment with respect to Canada’s Free Trade Agreements.  This memorandum contains guidelines concerning the administration of the regulations named below.  This memorandum has been revised to reflect the implementation of the Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement.  Changes have been made to the “Guidelines and General Information” to provide policy and procedural information related to the administration of this free trade agreement.
