CFIA proposes amendments to Regulations on Administrative Monetary Penalties

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) launched a public consultation on proposed amendments to the Agriculture and Agri-Food Administrative Monetary Penalties Regulations, which would allow Administrative Monetary Penalties (AMPs) to be issued to food businesses who do not comply with certain provisions of the Safe Food for Canadians Act and proposed Safe Food for Canadians Regulations.
