The Department of Commerce requirement for countervailing duty (CVD) assessments took effect on August 14th, 2017. Â The investigation has concluded that there is illegal subsidization of aluminum foil produced in China and assigned CVD case number C-570-054.
These rates span from 16.56% to 80.97% based on the individual manufacturer.  The ‘all other’ manufacturer rate is 22.45%.  US Customs has been instructed to suspend liquidation of these entries and collect cash deposits.
