This week, the FDA issued a “Small Entity Compliance Guide†to assist small businesses comply with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) regulations on ‘intentional alteration of food.’  This guide covers compliance dates, education, and record-keeping requirements.  ‘Small businesses’ must be in compliance by July 27th, 2020 and ‘very small businesses’ must be in compliance by July 26th, 2021.
