Hong Kong No Longer Valid Country of Origin

On July 14th, President Trump issued an Executive Order ending Hong Kong’s special trade status. Goods from Hong Kong must now be marked as “Made in China.”  Additionally, Section 301, anti-dumping, and countervailing duties will apply.  This action will take effect fifteen days after the order, which is July 29th, 2020.

Please be sure to review your country of origin marking and internal databases prior to the effective date.
