On July 14th, President Trump issued an Executive Order ending Hong Kong’s special trade status. Goods from Hong Kong must now be marked as “Made in China.â€Â Additionally, Section 301, anti-dumping, and countervailing duties will apply. This action will take effect fifteen days after the order, which is July 29th, 2020.
