U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has extended the mandatory implementation date for the new International Mail Entry Type 13 procedures from October 22, 2026, to January 20, 2027.
The extension provides additional time for importers, customs brokers, and logistics providers to review and align their processes with the upcoming requirements for international mail shipments entering the United States.
Companies involved in international mail imports may wish to familiarize themselves with the updated implementation timeline and related requirements published by CBP.
