The US Department of Commerce issued anti-dumping (A-122-857) and countervailing (C-570-858) duty orders for softwood lumber from Canada. This sets permanent rates for AD/CV duties unless revoked in a sunset or change of circumstances review. Overall, the rates only changed slightly from the previous numbers, but the countervailing duty will now be collected. If your company does not regularly ship softwood lumber from Canada into the United States, please contact the US Transition Team via email at transitionus@willsonintl.044d949.netsolhost.com prior to shipping.
