CBSA has advised that Detailed Adjustment Statements (DASs) will be issued for refunds of the safeguard surtax. Refunds are automatic and a B2 is not required.
If an adjustment has not been received by August 1, 2019, the importer may contact Trade_Programs-Programmes_commerciaux@cbsa-asfc.gc.ca after this date to enquire about the status of their adjustment.
