Technical Bulletin on the Proposed Prescriptive Path To Meet Fan Energy Rating (FER) Standards In Amendment 15Â
On October 20, 2018, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) pre-published Amendment 15 in the Canada Gazette Part I. Â This technical bulletin is being released in response to recent activity in the United States during this 70 day consultation period.
In order to solicit stakeholder views, NRCan has just posted on its website a technical bulletin for furnace fans for gas, oil-fired and electric furnaces.
We encourage stakeholders to submit written comments by December 29, 2018 on the regulatory changes being considered in this technical bulletin (the sooner the better to inform analysis of any potential changes).
