Tomato Anti-Dumping Duties to be Refunded by Customs

The Department of Commerce has instructed U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) to liquidate entries associated with the importation of Mexican grown fresh tomatoes.  Cash deposits made on or after May 7th will be refunded.

Willson International has verified that CBP has begun to set entries for liquidation as early as November 1st, 2019.  Typically, checks from the U.S. Department of Treasury arrive within three to four weeks after liquidation.

For additional information on the proceedings, please reference the fact sheet issued by the International Trade Administration.
