TSCA Required on Composite Wood Products in March 2019

Beginning on March 22nd, 2019, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will begin requiring the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) certification for all imports of composite wood products entering the United States.  Composite wood products refers to three commodities: hardwood plywood, medium-density fiberboard (MDF), and particleboard.  The EPA has provided a “Small Entity Compliance Guide for Importers, Distributors, and Retailers.”
