On February 6th, the United States International Trade Commission (USITC) published notice in the Federal Register ushering in the beginning of Countervailing Duty (CVD) assessment (C-570-074) on common alloy aluminum sheet from China. Anti-dumping duty (ADD) already applied to these goods, but CVD did not apply during that period. If your company ships this product into the United States, please review the Federal Register notice as there will be an increase in duties assessed.
