Please be advised that as part of a streamlining effort, regulated parties will now submit CFIA Fish List requests via Ask CFIA instead of through the local CFIA inspection office. Â The decision will also be communicated back to the regulated party through Ask CFIA. Â This change will allow for a more efficient and streamlined approach to the submission and review process.
Requests will continue to be processed in accordance with the Guidance on Determining the Common Names for Fish Sold or Processed in Canada, found at the following link.
