Willson International Inc. is undergoing changes as we prepare for Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) mandatory November ACE filing requirements. We are pleased to announce the launch of our new ACE compliant software package allowing enhanced communication with CBP while providing our customers uninterrupted service.
What does this mean for clients and carriers?
Many of the changes are internal and will remain transparent. Customers and carriers will continue receiving the same high level service as before, however there are a few changes that we would like to bring your attention to:
- Improved electronic messaging. Clients enrolled in our Release Notification Service (RNS) will see a change in formatting and the service offerings available through RNS.
- ACE will require changes to integrated solutions; including ShipCheck and other electronic feeds. We will provide further communication on requirements as mandatory ACE filing approaches.
During the transition it is necessary to add a Version 2.0 to our online PAPS tracking service. A reminder you can check the status of any PAPS 24/7.
