The CITT has initiated its expiry review to assess whether the continuation or resumption of dumping is likely to cause injury. According to the CITT’s expiry review schedule, its decision is expected by January 6, 2027.
If the CITT finds that the expiry of the order concerning the goods is likely to result in injury, the order will remain in force for those goods, with or without amendment. In that event, the CBSA will continue to impose anti-dumping duties on dumped imports of the subject goods.
If the CITT finds that the expiry of the order concerning the goods is unlikely to result in injury, the order will lapse with respect to those goods. Consequently, anti-dumping duties will no longer apply to imports of the subject goods, and any anti-dumping duties paid on goods released after the date on which the order was scheduled to expire will be returned to the importer.
