The CBSA has issued the following notice on the CARM Client Portal homepage regarding Late Accounting Penalties (LAPs) issued on the May 19th statutory holiday:

Please note we have encountered an issue with late accounting penalties being issued in error. We are currently cancelling those issued May 19, 2026, please refrain from appealing. Erroneous LAPs may be issued between May 20-26, 2026, but will reflect zero dollars ($0.00). Thank you for your patience and understanding.
