Court of International Trade Rules on Cedar Shakes and Shingles

This week, the Court of International Trade (CIT) ruled that cedar shakes and shingles are not included in the anti-dumping and countervailing duties assessed on softwood lumber from Canada.  The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) originally determined that these goods were covered.  However, the CIT determined that the original petition states cedar shakes and shingles were not originally intended to be part of the order.
