As we continue to follow the ongoing humanitarian and security crisis on the Southwest border of the United States, a U.S. Customs spokesperson stated that some officers from airports and northern border offices will be placed on temporary assignment along the southern border to support the U.S. Border Patrol’s activities.  This could result in staffing shortages along the northern border.
As we enter peak travel season at the borders, we want our clients to know the U.S. Customs has a website that shows wait times at both the Canadian and Mexican ports of entry. This could be a valuable tool for your commercial or personal crossings this summer.
