US Customs Clarifies Anti-dumping Duty Order on Certain Softwood Lumber from Canada

US customs has issued a clarification regarding the scope of anti-dumping case A-122-857 that covers certain softwood lumber products from Canada.  In this clarification, CBP states, “finished products made from softwood lumber are not covered by the scope of this order.  Given the number and variety of finished products made from softwood lumber, Commerce has not identified every finished product not covered by the scope of this order.”  However, CBP did provide a list that includes: assembled pallets; assembled trusses; assembled door frames; assembled window frames; finished furniture kits; and I-joists.  If you ship articles of softwood lumber, please review the clarification provided by CBP.
