Technical Bulletin on Residential Gas and Oil-fired Boilers – Amendment 15 to the Energy Efficiency Regulations
On March 4, 2017, Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) initiated the development of Amendment 15 to the Energy Efficiency Regulations. This Amendment would introduce or update energy efficiency standards and, where applicable, test methods and associated reporting and compliance requirements for 21 product categories.
In order to solicit stakeholder views, NRCan has just posted on its website a technical bulletin for residential gas and oil-fired boilers:
A webinar will be held on September 14, 2017 to present the details of the technical bulletin. Register for this webinar and share your comments.
We encourage stakeholders to submit written comments by October 16, 2017 on the regulatory changes being considered in this technical bulletin (the sooner the better to inform analysis of any potential changes).
Notices of new bulletins will be sent to stakeholders over the next couple of months for the remaining products in Amendment 15.
