U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is reminding the trade community of the importance of completing Electronic Refund Enrollment within the ACE Portal. Existing ACE Portal users should ensure that ACH Refund Enrollment is added to their account. The ACH Refund Authorization tab is also used to designate the 4811 notify party, enabling brokers to receive refunds on behalf of the Importer of Record (IOR).
The ACE Portal additionally provides visibility into refund activity through the ACE Rev-603 report, allowing users to track refund status directly within the system.
CBP has published comprehensive resources, including ACE Portal guidance and ACH Refunds FAQs. The trade community is strongly encouraged to review these materials and take any necessary action to ensure proper setup and uninterrupted refund processing.
